Key Initiatives
💧 Shallow Well Water Project – Ihanga Village
Problem: Over 200 families in Ihanga Village walk long distances to fetch clean and safe water.
Action: Drilling 4 shallow wells (18 meters deep) using manual hand pumps to provide easy access to clean water for the community.
Estimated Budget: TZS 1,250,000 per well.
Expected Impact: Clean water for over 200 residents, improving health and quality of life.
👩🔧 Empowering Women Through Water Leadership
Action: Providing training and leadership skills to rural women, enabling them to take leadership roles in managing and maintaining water points.
Goal: Build leadership skills, confidence, and sustainable practices among women in rural communities.
🛠️ Youth Skill Development
Action: Offering hands-on training in tailoring, welding, and sustainable agriculture to empower youth with practical skills for employment and self-sufficiency.
Goal: Equip young people with the skills to secure meaningful employment and achieve independence.
Location: Kilombero District.
📢 Community Awareness Campaigns
Action: Educating the community through workshops and village meetings on water safety, hygiene, and health to prevent waterborne diseases.
Goal: Raise awareness on the importance of water hygiene and health safety in rural areas.
