💧 Shallow Well Water Project – Ihanga Village

Problem: Over 200 residents of Ihanga Village walk long distances to fetch clean and safe water.

Action: Drilling 4 shallow wells (18 meters deep) using manual hand pumps (hand pump, foot valve, coil system).

Estimated Budget: TZS 1,250,000 per well – including excavation, transportation, and installation of full hand-pump system.

Implementation Duration: 3 Weeks

Location: Ihanga, Kilombero – Morogoro

Expected Impact: Access to clean and safe water for over 200 residents

Action: Training rural women to lead and maintain water points.

Goal: Build leadership, skills and confidence among women in water projects.

🛠️ Youth Skill Development Action

Action: Creating programs for youth training in tailoring, welding, and sustainable agriculture.

Location: Kilombero District

📢 Community Awareness Campaigns

Action: Organizing village meetings and workshops to raise awareness on water safety, hygiene, and health.
